Why Clover Organizing Exists: A Story of Faith, Purpose, and Caring for Seniors Through Life’s Transitions
People often ask me how Clover Organizing came to be. The short answer is faith, timing, and a very unexpected nudge from God. The longer answer is the story I want to share with you.
For most of my career, I lived in the corporate world. Administration, communications, marketing, brand. I worked inside big companies where things felt safe and predictable. I was not the entrepreneurial type. Or, at least I thought I wasn’t.
Then, in 2023, something shifted. God kept giving me an overwhelming sense of peace, even though nothing around me felt certain. I didn’t understand it at the time. I just kept telling myself, Hang in there, Amanda. This is safe.
In August of 2024, my role as VP of Brand was eliminated. Except God was already ahead of it. I resigned just minutes before being told. Looking back, I see His provision and protection so clearly. That peace I had been given was preparing me for what was coming next.
When I stepped away, I knew God was calling me to do something on my own. Entrepreneurship? Me? The no-risk girl? Absolutely not. And yet, there was that perfect peace. So, I stepped away without knowing exactly what was next.
What I didn’t fully realize at the time was that organizing, decluttering, and project coordination had been part of my DNA for as long as I can remember.
Long before Clover existed, I was the one friends and family called when life felt overwhelming. I loved helping people sort through spaces, create order, and feel lighter on the other side. It wasn’t just about things. It was about relief, clarity, and calm. Those skills were always there. They simply needed the right purpose to shine.
Then came a knock at my door.
A neighbor’s daughter had recently lost both of her parents. She was overwhelmed by the house, the paperwork, the memories, and the responsibility of closing a home. She asked if I knew someone who could help her organize everything and prepare the home for sale. I smiled and said, “I do.”
After work, I spent time in that home decluttering, organizing, coordinating details, and lifting the burden so she didn’t have to carry it alone. One night, I looked at my husband and said, “I could do this with complete joy for the rest of my life.”
That moment changed everything.
My neighbors daughter Jill, who knocked on my door and helped me find purpose, joy and Clover!
For over 25 years, I had served in senior ministry through my church. I had watched seniors struggle with the heavy lift of moving, downsizing, and figuring out what to do with a lifetime of belongings, memories, and responsibility. I saw adult children overwhelmed and unsure where to start. Deep down, I always knew there was a gap. I just didn’t know it was one I was meant to fill.
God hadn’t just prepared my heart for seniors. He had prepared my skill set. Organization, communication, coordination, compassion, and calm in the middle of overwhelm. He removed what I clung to so I could step fully into a life of purpose and service. The timing was finally right.
That is how Clover Organizing was born. ☘️
Today, Clover provides real-life organizing, downsizing support, and senior move services for older adults and their families. We help seniors declutter, rightsize, and move into independent living, assisted living, memory care, or their next chapter with care and dignity. We offer senior move management because there are so many moving pieces, and no one should have to navigate them alone.
I chose the name Clover for two reasons. The three-leaf clover represents the Trinity, a reminder that God leads this business, not me. And at the center of the word Clover is love. That is how we serve. Always.
In 2025 alone, we had the honor of serving over 75 seniors with decluttering, downsizing, and moving. My days often end with hugs, cookies, tears, laughter, and whispered thank-yous. I’ve gained friendships, wisdom, and stories from these seniors I will carry forever.
